先日注文した指紋本のもう一冊が届く。

Douglas G. Browne, Alan Brock, Fingerprints, New York, Dutton, 1954.

目次を見て見覚えがあると思ったら…。
案の定すでに持っている本だった。
同じような失敗はつい一ヶ月ほど前にもやったばかりだったので少しへこむ。
まあ世の中にまだ見たことのない指紋本はもうそう多くはないということだと、解釈しておこう。
